EUROGIP is a French observatory and resource centre specialising in issues relating to insurance and the prevention of accident at work \/ occupationnal diseases (AW\/OD) at international level, particularly in Europe. Created in 1991 within the Assurance Maladie \u2013 Risques professionnels<\/u><\/a> (or “AW\/OD Branch”), it acts as its international representative:<\/p>\n

Unique in Europe, EUROGIP fulfils various missions: it conducts studies and surveys <\/b>on international insurance and prevention systems; coordinates the participation of occupational accidents and diseases insurance experts in standardisation work in the field of occupational health and safety<\/b> in France, Europe and internationally; provides the secretariat for the coordination of French notified bodies<\/b> (CE marking) responsible for personal protective equipment (PPE) and machinery; participates in projects of Community interest<\/b> in collaboration with foreign counterparts for European bodies; analyses international news<\/b> and shares its expertise with its network (best practices of our European neighbours, new European regulations, etc.) and represents the AT\/MP Branch internationally<\/strong> and facilitates its exchanges with foreign partners<\/b>.<\/p>\n
