That\u2019s why all occupational accidents and diseases are preventable\u201d. To support a more systematic and integrated approach to prevention the campaign provides Vision Zero Companies and Partners with seven golden rules and practical checklists, as well as training material, published on the campaign website.<\/p>\n<p> The seven golden rules are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12.16px;\">Take leadership \u2013 demonstrate commitment<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Identify hazards \u2013 control risks<\/li>\n<li>Define targets \u2013 develop programmes<\/li>\n<li>Ensure a safe and healthy system \u2013 be well-organized<\/li>\n<li>Ensure safety and health in machines, equipment and workplaces<\/li>\n<li>Improve qualifications \u2013 develop skills<\/li>\n<li>Invest in people \u2013 motivate by participation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Implementing these rules obviously represents an investment for companies, but \u201cit is widely recognized that prevention pays and that a healthy and motivated workforce is critical to business.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.issa.int\/en\/-\/vision-zero-issa-launches-global-campaign-for-zero-accidents-diseases-and-harm-at-work\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">To find out more<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Is a world without accidents, diseases or harm at work possible? \u201cYes\u201d says the first ever global prevention campaign of the International Social Security Association (ISSA).
