{"id":23296,"date":"2018-05-29T13:46:00","date_gmt":"2018-05-29T11:46:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eurogip.fr\/european-pillar-of-social-rights-the-commission-s-initiatives-relating-to-work\/"},"modified":"2018-05-29T13:46:00","modified_gmt":"2018-05-29T11:46:00","slug":"european-pillar-of-social-rights-the-commission-s-initiatives-relating-to-work","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/eurogip.fr\/en\/european-pillar-of-social-rights-the-commission-s-initiatives-relating-to-work\/","title":{"rendered":"European Pillar of Social Rights: the Commission&#8217;s initiatives relating to work"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Eurogip publishes a memorandum on the work-related initiatives taken by the European Commission within the framework of the European Pillar of Social Rights which was enacted on 17 November 2017 by the Council and the European Parliament.<\/p>\n<p> The Pillar consists of twenty principles which should serve as a guiding principle for the European Union&#8217;s social policy concerning, in particular:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>equal opportunities and access to the labour market;<\/li>\n<li>fair working conditions;<\/li>\n<li>social welfare and integration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In the memorandum published by it, Eurogip has investigated in particular the legislative proposals and guidelines with a view to adapting the legislation of the Member States to changes in the working world.
