This number has remained virtually unchanged over the past five years. Fatal accidents have increased from 31 in 2018 to 36 in 2019.<\/p>\n<p>For the 5th consecutive year, the water, wastewater and especially waste sector is the most sinister. The incidence &#8211; 468 accidents per 10,000 employees &#8211; is 3 times higher than the average.
