The elimination of child and forced labour is at the heart of this effort.<\/p>\n<p>According to the latest figures, \u201c160 million children &#8211; one in ten worldwide &#8211; are forced to work and 25 million people are in forced labour\u201d. The EU supports decent work in all sectors and policy areas, in line with an approach that includes workers in domestic markets, in third countries and in global supply chains.
