Five organisations active at national level in the field of occupational health and safety (OHS) are joining forces for the first time. And it&#8217;s for a good cause: a prevention campaign aimed at managers in companies with two to nine employees.<\/p>\n<p>The five organisations are the Federal Coordination Commission for Occupational Safety (FCOS), the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), the Accident Prevention Bureau (APB), Suva and Health Promotion Switzerland. The campaign is entitled &#8220;Leadership Laboratory. Your commitment to safety and health benefits your company&#8221;. The online portal offers :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a guide,<\/li>\n<li>a self-test to find out what managers are already doing well and what they can do better,<\/li>\n<li>links to carefully selected concrete offers that help people to improve.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The prevention campaign targets some 115,000 small businesses in the service sector throughout Switzerland. These are typically characterised by a simple structure, in which one person usually combines many management activities. In addition to a high workload, there may be a lack of knowledge about occupational safety and health protection.<\/p>\n<p>The campaign will be promoted through large-scale digital media, direct mailings, participation in trade fairs and through the internal channels of the responsible organisations and partners.
