Organised by EU-OSHA, the campaigns have the overall message: \u201cHealthy workplaces. Good for you. An asset for the company\u201d. The 2023-2025 edition will be dedicated to occupational safety and health (OSH) in the digital age.<\/p>\n<p>Nicolas Schmit, European Commissioner for Employment and Social Rights, and the Spanish and Basque Ministers of Labour introduced the closing summit, during which the results of the SLIC (Senior Labour Inspectors Committee) MSD campaign organised under the French EU Presidency, the links between MSDs and psychosocial risks, and simple solutions for preventing\/working with chronic MSDs were presented.<\/p>\n<p>The 2023-2025 campaign will focus on five priority areas: work on digital platforms, advanced robotics and artificial intelligence, remote work, intelligent digital systems, managing employees with artificial intelligence.<\/p>\n<p>EU-OSHA also took the opportunity of the Bilbao Summit to present its 2023-2025 work programme to the <a href=\"https:\/\/osha.europa.eu\/en\/about-eu-osha\/national-focal-points\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">national focal points<\/span><\/a>. This is structured around the following strategic objectives:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Anticipating change &#8211; providing credible and quality data on new and emerging risks.<\/li>\n<li>Facts and figures &#8211; to provide a picture of current OSH risks.<\/li>\n<li>Provide tools for OSH management, especially for small and medium-sized enterprises.<\/li>\n<li>Awareness raising and communication &#8211; campaign and media<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge networking &#8211; smaller approaches to knowledge exchange<\/li>\n<li>Networking &#8211; International, European, regional, national, sectoral, tripartite.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>EU-OSHA&#8217;s \u201cnew\u201d tasks include addressing the consequences of the pandemic and preparing for future health emergencies; addressing cyber security; supporting the Commission and other actors in policy initiatives.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/osha.europa.eu\/en\/campaigns-and-awards\/healthy-workplaces-campaigns\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">To find out more<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The closing summit of the EU-OSHA MSD Prevention Campaign 2020-2022 presented best practices in MSD prevention and introduced the 2023-2025 edition dedicated to occupational health and safety in the digital age.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":4,"featured_media":30844,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[907],"class_list":["post-30878","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-community-news"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.3 -
