In 2023-2024, the Labour Inspectorate’s priority objective is to support companies in protecting employees against violence in the workplace and to deal with incidents appropriately.<\/p>\n

Violence in the workplace – whether physical, psychological or sexual – can take many forms. In addition to physical injuries, it is above all the psychological after-effects that can be detrimental to employees. The Labour Inspectorate is therefore keen to help companies introduce preventive measures. More than sixty labour inspectors have been trained nationwide. Comprehensive information aimed at employers, managers and employees aims to raise awareness of forms of violence at work and, where necessary, to improve health and safety at work accordingly.<\/p>\n

The Labour Inspectorate has worked closely with other judicial bodies dealing with violence. Particular emphasis is placed on the important role of assessment in ensuring that there is no risk of violence leading to danger in the workplace.<\/p>\n
