Various tools are available, including the online tool developed in 2019 by experts at the Danish Working Environment Authority (Arbejdstilsynet): the APV (arbejdspladsvurdering).<\/p>\n<p>The written assessment takes place in four stages:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Select the industry and the APV checklist from the 61 available.<\/li>\n<li>Involve the employees: this is an obligation, but the company decides how to do it (e.g. via a questionnaire).<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate the problems against the proposed checklist and decide whether or not to include them in the action plan.<\/li>\n<li>Finalise the action plan, which must clearly indicate how and when the problems will be resolved and who will be responsible for implementing the actions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The authority gives the <a href=\"https:\/\/at.dk\/arbejdsmiljoearbejdet\/arbejdspladsvurdering-apv\/krav-til-apv\/virksomhedscase-arbejdsmiljoearbejdet-er-en-integreret-del-af-vores-strategi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">case of Airmaster A\/S in North Jutland<\/span><\/a>, which develops ventilation systems, where the risk assessment carried out once or twice a year fits in perfectly with the company&#8217;s strategy to be one of the best workplaces in Denmark.<\/p>\n<p>Risk assessment in EU countries is based on the <a href=\"https:\/\/eurogip.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/CELEX_01989L0391-20081211_EN_TXT.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">1989 Framework Directive<\/span><\/a> and at the European level, the <a href=\"https:\/\/osha.europa.eu\/en\/about-eu-osha\/eu-osha-1994-2019\/our-story\/oira-user-friendly-tool-assessing-and-preventing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">OiRA<\/span><\/a> sectoral tools are particularly useful for very small enterprises in different sectors.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/at.dk\/arbejdsmiljoearbejdet\/arbejdspladsvurdering-apv\/krav-til-apv\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Find out more<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>An assessment of the working environment is an annual legal requirement for all companies with employees.
