Indeed, it is regularly compared with OiRA (Online interactive Risk Assessment), a similar solution developed at European level and deployed in all 27 member states.<\/p>\n<p>Indeed, since its launch in 2011, BeSMART.ie has enjoyed growing success: the platform is now used by some 10,000 companies, with over 90,000 risk assessments generated and more than 250,000 OHS documents downloaded. Well beyond initial expectations, the tool is particularly used to edit customized safety declarations and finalize prevention initiatives, whether for compliance purposes, to start a project, to respond to an inspection, or simply to update OHS documents.<\/p>\n<p>Based on the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.boutique.afnor.org\/fr-fr\/norme\/iec-310102019\/management-du-risque-techniques-dappreciation-du-risque\/xs134883\/248026#:~:text=IEC%2031010%3A2019%20est%20publi%C3%A9e%20en%20tant%20que%20norme,des%20techniques%20d%27appr%C3%A9ciation%20du%20risque%20dans%20diff%C3%A9rentes%20situations.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">IEC 31010:2019 standard on risk assessment techniques<\/a><\/span>, the platform covers more than 300 types of company, and offers a range of content for high-risk sectors such as construction, agriculture and healthcare.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/osha.europa.eu\/en\/publications\/irelands-besmart-ie-online-interactive-risk-assessment-tool-supporting-occupational-safety-and-health-compliance-case-ie2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">To find out more<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>BeSMART.ie, the online tool to facilitate occupational health and safety compliance in Ireland, soon to be exported?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":36,"featured_media":33549,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[909],"class_list":["post-33869","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-abroad"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.3 -
