EUROGIP publishes a report on this subject, divided into three main sections:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First, the EUROGIP note provides\u00a0<b>a comparative statistical overview<\/b>\u00a0<b>of occupational accidents and diseases according to the gender of the victims\u00a0<\/b>in six European countries (Germany, Belgium, Denmark, Spain, France, and Italy).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Based on European studies,\u00a0<b>several repercussions of the \u201cgender\u201d factor in the field of occupational health<\/b>\u00a0are identified: gender bias in the process of recognizing occupational diseases; overrepresentation of women in the development of work-related musculoskeletal disorders; inequalities in exposure, level of information, and medical surveillance between men and women.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Finally,\u00a0<b>several tools developed in European countries to integrate gender into prevention\u00a0<\/b>measures are highlighted.
