What is the European Forum?<\/h1>\n

The European Forum for Occupational Protection<\/u><\/b><\/a> (or European Forum of the Insurance against Accidents at Work and Occupational Diseases) is an association bringing together occupational health and safety organisations from around twenty European countries<\/b>. The aim of this forum is to enable different Member States to share their experiences and best practices in the field of prevention and insurance against accidents at work and occupational diseases, with a view to improving the protection of European workers.<\/p>\n

Throughout the year, Forum members work remotely within five working groups: Legislation, Occupational Diseases, Communication, Prevention and Digitalisation. Once a year, they meet in a member country, which then holds the Forum\u2019s presidency.<\/p>\n

The French presidency in 2027: Save the date!<\/i><\/b><\/h1>\n

The Forum\u2019s presidency<\/b> is held in turn by the member countries. The country holding the presidency is responsible for organising, on its territory, the working group meetings, the Forum\u2019s General Assembly and the annual conference, which is traditionally open to the host country\u2019s network.<\/p>\n

Following Luxembourg in 2025<\/u><\/a> and Poland in 2026, it is France\u2019s turn to hold the Forum\u2019s presidency, a role it previously held in 1993 and 2009<\/u><\/a>.<\/p>\n
