The EUROGIP Discussions 2012 “Identifying and recognising occupational diseases in Europe”
Risks improperly identified, delayed effect of exposure up to several decades, difficulty to prove the relationship between exposure and disease, etc. Occupational diseases (ODs) represent an issue which is more complex to deal with than accidents at work.
To explore further the issue, the EUROGIP Discussions on 15 March 2012 gave the opportunity to express their views to representatives of the European Commission, of EU-OSHA, to European social partners and to insurance organisations against occupational diseases in Germany, Belgium, Denmark, Spain, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Sweden.
