The new EUROGIP Focus is devoted to Community law on occupational health and safety (OHS).
After a brief history, the document reviews:
- the procedure for adopting binding OHS legislation, including the directive, which is the main instrument for harmonising OHS provisions;
- the 1989 Framework Directive and the individual directives adopted pursuant to it
- other Community texts of relevance to OSH
acts currently being drafted or in preparation, including the IA and Machinery Regulations or the “platforms” and possibly “telework” Directives.
