Shortly after the publication of the ISO 45001 standard relating to occupational health and safety management systems, a technical specification supplements it with a view to organizing a harmonized approach to the accreditation of an ISO 45001 certification.

The new ISO/IEC TS 17021-10 standard which was published recently concerns “Conformity assessment – Requirements for bodies providing audit and certification of management systems”. It defines the competence requirements for organizations responsible for auditing organizations that have applied the ISO 45001 standard.
