The EUROGIP Discussions 2011 “Helping SMEs to prevent occupational risks: what actions in Europe?”

EUROGIP held its Discussions on 17 March 2011 (in Paris) on examples of actions taken in Europe to prevent occupational risks in SMEs. During this conference, several highlights included reviews of the actual situation in the field regarding health and safety in a small enterprise ; handling of the issue at the Community level; – the “better regulation” project and its impact on occupational health and safety in SMEs ; initiatives developed in various countries: Austria, France, Great-Britain, Italy, Luxembourg, Poland, Switzerland.

The objective of the Discussions was to encourage the exchange of experience at the European level between the relevant stakeholders: public authorities, safety managers, company managers, industrial doctors, etc.
