February 2022: What’s new in OSH standardisation?

Under a new regulation adopted on 11 December 2024, three new diseases have been added to the list of occupational diseases and may be recognised as such under certain conditions. These are damage to the shoulder rotator cuff, gonarthrosis and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

The 2023 Key Features - Health and safety in the workplace provides an overview of the key figures for the general scheme relating to accidents at work, commuting accidents and occupational diseases. It also looks at compensation for victims and provides data on the Branch, such as the financial balance sheet and the prevention measures implemented.
