As part of the 2020-2022 campaign on good practice in tackling musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs), EU-OSHA is seeking to identify examples of innovative approaches.

These should make a sustainable and demonstrable contribution to the prevention or management of MSDs. Best practices will be awarded. In addition, this is an opportunity for organisations to get involved and highlight effective interventions they have developed.

DENMARK: the benefits of physical training during working hours

According to the National Centre for Work Environment Research, 3 x 10 minutes of exercise a week could reduce long-term sickness absence by 13%. As a result, three local authorities have taken it upon themselves to offer such training to home care workers during working hours.
