SWEDEN: focus on fatal accidents over the period 2013-2023

A new report from Afa Försäkring lists 196 fatal accidents at work between 2013 and 2023, 80% of them in the private sector. In 2023 there will be 24 more fatalities than in the previous year.

FRANCE: an interactive video for safety on board fishing vessels

The “Institut maritime de prévention” (IMP), supported by the CNPMEM (maritime fisheries and marine farming Committee), has launched an interactive video on safety at work on board fishing vessels. It is aimed at professional sailors, teachers and students at maritime schools, and all those involved in risk prevention in the maritime environment.

Occupational injuries branch: find out about its 2023 OHS standardisation activity

As the representative of the French “Accidents at work and Occupational diseases” (AT/MP) insurance scheme at European and international level, EUROGIP coordinates and manages the network of experts involved in the drafting of CEN and ISO standards on “Occupational health and safety” (OHS). It publishes the 2023 activity report.
