New film: Napo battling robots at work

Home > The news of EUROGIP and occupational risks in Europe > New film: Napo battling robots at work

“Think digital, think safety and health”. This is the message of the new film with the prevention mascot Napo. The film describes some of the emerging robotic technologies, the types of accidents associated with them, the main hazards and how they can be controlled.

Advances in automation technologies, including stationary robots, collaborative and mobile robots and exoskeletons, have the potential to improve working conditions, but also to introduce occupational hazards. Production line workers are the most exposed, followed by maintenance workers. Poor workplace design and human error are the causes of most injuries.
