OSHA Wellbeing at work The European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA) has just published a report in the preparation of which EUROGIP played a part. The document analyzes the various approaches to and interpretations of well-being at work in 30 European countries based on the answers to a questionnaire sent to the competent national authorities.

Artificial intelligence: MEPs adopt “historic” law

On 13 March, the European Parliament adopted by a very large majority the world's first “binding” regulation on artificial intelligence, based on the draft presented by the European Commission in April 2021. The Council must now formally adopt it.

FRANCE: The Fund for the Prevention of Occupational Deterioration is up and running

From 18 March 2024, the FIPU (Fonds d'investissement dans la prévention de l'usure professionnelle) will be operational. With a budget of €200 million for 2024, it will help companies protect the health of workers exposed to three ergonomic risk factors: manual handling of loads, awkward postures and mechanical vibrations.

An assessment of the working environment is an annual legal requirement for all companies with employees. Various tools are available, including the online tool developed in 2019 by experts at the Danish Working Environment Authority: the APV (arbejdspladsvurdering).
