EUROGIP monitors newly published texts or work in progress at European (CEN) or international (ISO) level in the field of occupational health and safety (OHS) standardisation.

In this context, it publishes the results in a new “What’s new in OSH standardisation” for December 2021, for example concerning standards for woodworking machinery, foodstuffs, road construction, etc.

SPAIN: ‘A day like any other’, the new motto of the prevention campaign

Every day in Spain, 2 people die at work and 35 are hospitalized as a result of an accident at work. Faced with these alarming figures, the Spanish government launched an occupational risk prevention campaign in November 2024 called “Un Dia Cualquiera” (A day like any other).
