Fedris has decided to extend its pilot project on burn-out until 31 December 2022, with a view to increasing prevention. “The two long years of the pandemic have left a heavy and significant mark on the population in general and on healthcare staff in particular, who have suffered a significant overload of stress and emotions”.

The project, launched in 2019, was aimed at the early management of burnout among workers in the banking and hospital sectors. It was later extended to the care sectors. Workers who were on the front line during the health crisis were indeed exposed to additional psychosocial risk factors: high-risk work environment, threat to their own health, sudden and repeated changes within the organization, lack of staff, intensified workload, ethical conflicts, confrontation with a large number of deaths, etc.

In 3 years, the results are encouraging: 900 workers have received a free specific diagnosis; 600 have received adapted and personalised support and a hundred have been referred to other services adapted to their needs.
