EUROGIP in Le Monde newspaper
EUROGIP recently published a new report focusing on initiatives and regulations aimed at preventing psychosocial risks in the workplace across 12 countries. On this occasion, Jules Thomas, a journalist for Le Monde, interviewed Annarita Piazza, a research officer at EUROGIP and author of the report, about her research and how the prevention of psychosocial risks in the workplace is being promoted. This exchange led to the column “Mental Health in the Workplace: Where Does France Stand?,” (Santé mentale au travail : où en est la France ?) published on April 1 by Le Monde.

Management of psychosocial risks at work: the Senate consults EUROGIP
At the initiative of the European Democratic and Social Rally (RDSE) group, the Senate established a fact-finding mission on the following topic: “Psychological distress at work: a societal and collective challenge to be addressed” (La souffrance psychique au travail : un défi sociétal et collectif à relever). In this context, three representatives from EUROGIP were heard by the Senate at the invitation of Ms. Annick Girardin, rapporteur for the fact-finding mission.

New contract with the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA)
EUROGIP won the EU-OSHA tender for updating the legislation section of its website. This project aims to ensure the accuracy and relevance of the published information. It is based in particular on a bimonthly monitoring of European regulatory developments (directives, regulations, recommendations), as well as on the proposal of new content.

Platform work: interview by the Brazilian newspaper Valor Econômico
The Brazilian business daily Valor Econômico approached EUROGIP to learn more about Directive (EU) 2024/2831 on improving working conditions in the context of platform work. In its article “Directive paves the way for delivery workers to have an employment relationship” (Diretiva abre caminho para entregador ter vínculo empregatício), the newspaper draws in particular on EUROGIP’s Focus report “Platform Work: Understanding the New European Directive.”
