FRANCE: The essential SST 2022 report from the occupational injuries and diseases insurance scheme is online

SPAIN: analysis of workplace mortality between 2020 and 2022

In addition to gaining a better understanding of the causes, the aim is to define appropriate measures to prevent any recurrence.

SWEDEN: winter heralds increased risk of fall-related accidents at work

The drop in temperatures and the arrival of snow are leading to fears of a possible increase in falls outdoors, the most frequent cause of serious accidents at work. Between 2020 and 2021, around 2,700 such accidents were recorded, 2/3 of them between November and March.

FRANCE: asbestos-related cancers of the larynx and ovary recognised as occupational diseases

The decree of 14 October 2023 “creates for the general social security scheme a table of occupational diseases relating to cancers of the larynx and ovary caused by the inhalation of asbestos dust”. This recognition will enable the workers concerned “to benefit from improved compensation and support”.
