BELGIUM: 3 diseases added to the list of occupational diseases

By Royal Decree published on 9 August 2022, these three occupational diseases are added to the Belgian list: ovarian cancer caused by asbestos; uveal melanoma caused by optical radiation from welding; systemic sclerosis caused by inhalation of dust containing crystalline silica.

GERMANY: Almost 230,000 work-related Covid-19 cases since 2020

Since the beginning of the pandemic, the social accident insurances (BG and UK) have received more than 350,000 reports of work-related Covid-19. DENMARK: campaign to combat dust on building sites
