EUROGIP coordinates the activities of experts from the “accidents at work and occupational diseases” insurance scheme, who participate in the development of occupational health and safety (OHS) standards at French, European and international level. Each year, EUROGIP publishes an activity report for the industry’s stakeholders, as well as an extract from this document for a wider audience.

In 2024, 78 experts took part in the work of 48 French commissions mirroring the European and international technical committees. Of these French commissions, 17 are working on the development of 25 purely French standards. In addition, the experts took part in the development or monitoring of 229 draft standards dealing with OHS aspects, including 34 French and 195 international (EN, ISO and EN ISO).

Some examples of subjects dealt with in 2024 :

  • protective clothing and gloves against chemical risks,
  • laboratory equipment – fume cupboards,
  • temporary site guardrails.

PSR prevention: next EUROGIP report announced in Marseille
