ISSA – “Instructing driving personnel – a game changer for safety and success”

Home > The news of EUROGIP and occupational risks in Europe > ISSA – “Instructing driving personnel – a game changer for safety and success”

Conference: September 17-18, 2025, Hamburg, Germany

The International Social Security Association (ISSA) and the German Social Accident Insurance Institution for Commercial Transport, Postal Logistics and Telecommunications (BG Verkehr) are co-hosting a conference on staff training in mobile workplaces.

“Instructing the workforce has a special significance in a company. Documentation is regularly demanded during company inspections and even more so after serious accidents at work. At the same time, instruction poses enormous challenges, especially in mobile sectors with multicultural teams. Training days are not always popular with drivers, they cause a lot of effort and considerable costs for the company – especially as the driving personnel are rarely present on the company site in full.

So how to provide legally compliant, efficient and effective training? This question will be addressed at the international industry conference of the BG Verkehr on 17 and 18 September in Hamburg, to which we cordially invite you. The theme of the conference is “Instructing driving personnel – a game changer for safety and success”. Leading experts will explore relevant aspects of the obligation to instruct, work out the specifics of the road transportation industry and present practical solutions.”

Information:

Participation is free and possible in person or online.
The conference languages are German and English, with simultaneous translation.
Registration to attend in person is closed, but you can still register online until 12 September 2025.
