This standardization training was organized by the Directorate-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs (DG GROW, formerly DG Enterprise and Industry) in partnership with the European standards organizations CEN, CENELEC and ETSI. The main objective was to inform participants regarding the functioning of the European standardization system and on how voluntary European standards can be used as tools to support the establishment of European policies and legislation.

ITALY: provisional assessment of work-related accidents in 2022

According to the provisional data it has just published, INAIL observes between January and December 2022 a 25.7% increase in the number of accident reports (697,773). The number of fatal accidents is decreasing, despite an increase in commuting fatalities, compared to 2021.
