DENMARK: Discrimination at work and development of depressive disorders
Employees who are discriminated against in various ways are almost three times more likely to develop depression. This is the finding of a new study by the National Work Environment Research Centre (NFA).

FINLAND: number of occupational accidents increased in 2022
In 2022, there were 92,000 accidents at work and 22,600 commuting accidents, which represent an increase respectively of 1.6% and up to 23.5% compared to the previous year.

Artificial intelligence: an agreement signed in the metalworking sector

ITALY: provisional assessment of work-related accidents in 2022
According to the provisional data it has just published, INAIL observes between January and December 2022 a 25.7% increase in the number of accident reports (697,773). The number of fatal accidents is decreasing, despite an increase in commuting fatalities, compared to 2021.

SWEDEN: men are more often victims of vibration-related occupational diseases
According to a new report from Afa Försäkring, vibration injuries suffered mainly by men are the occupational disease it has most frequently recognised between 2012 and 2021. And that is without counting cases of carpal tunnel syndrome.
