GERMANY: skin diseases and Covid-19

Between 5 and 20% of people who have an acute infection with Covid-19 or Long Covid may develop a skin infection. This usually disappears. But if the damage persists, it may be recognized as an occupational disease in the same way as Covid-19 as an “infectious disease”.

LUXEMBOURG: Workplace injuries in 2021

In 2021, the total number of accidents at work, commuting accidents and occupational diseases increased (+1,056 accidents and +143 commuting accidents) compared to 2020. But it is down compared to the reference year 2019.

Council and European Parliament agree on adapting EU standardisation rules

The Council and the European Parliament reached a provisional political agreement on 12 October on the Commission proposal to amend the European standardisation regulation (No 1025/2012). This amendment aims to preserve the principles of good governance in the delivery of standards requested by the European Commission.
