Mesothelioma: still a topical occupational disease

Although the number of cases has been falling since 2013, Eurostat shows that in 2021 there will still be 2,380 deaths in the EU from mesothelioma, a cancer mainly linked to occupational exposure to asbestos. This exposure may have taken place several decades before the disease developed.

Under-reporting of accidents at work in Europe: the Eurogip’s study is now available in English

EUROGIP released updated estimates (2019-2021) of its analysis on the under-reporting of workplace accidents in Europe that result in more than three days of absence from work. The report was initially published in French, and the English version is now available.
