The website of the European Union Observatory for Nanomaterials (EUON) has been updated with new safety information on the use of nanomaterials in various sectors (food, medicine, fundamental research, etc.). Moreover, two databases are now available regarding nanotechnology and technology, and to find safety information on nanomaterials:
- NanoData: data concerning various products, research projects, publications, patents and enterprises which can be easily filtered by sector and by geographic location.
- eNanoMapper: one of the biggest sources of data currently available on the toxicological properties of nanomaterials; data and tools for the assessment of risks related to nanomaterials.
