Commission launches consultation on a comprehensive approach to mental health

Home > The news of EUROGIP and occupational risks in Europe > Commission launches consultation on a comprehensive approach to mental health

President Ursula von der Leyen announced this in her State of the EU address in September 2022. The European Commission will address concerns about mental health in a forthcoming Communication. To this end, it is inviting citizens, stakeholders and interested parties to provide input through a consultation open until 15 February 2023.

The Communication will also respond to the commitment to a non-legislative initiative at EU level on mental health at work, in cooperation with Member States and social partners.

Who can participate in the consultation? Anyone who is interested or likely to be affected by proposed or existing legislation or policy. This includes national, regional and local public authorities, enterprises, civil society organisations and the general public.
