EU-OSHA and the European Academy of Occupational Health Psychology (EAOHP) have launched the call for applications for the 2024 “Eusebio Rial-González Innovation & Practice Award in OHP”. The award recognises any researcher or practitioner whose work has made a significant and innovative contribution to Occupational Health Psychology.

Candidates may nominate themselves or be nominated by a third party. Their research must have contributed to “the development of innovative guidelines or the implementation of international, national or organisational occupational health programmes which, through their impact, have made a difference in the field or have played a key role in the implementation of such programmes”. The deadline for submissions is 7 April 2024.

Dr Eusebio Rial-González was a founding member of EAOHP. He then joined EU-OSHA as Head of the Prevention and Research Unit. He was the architect of the 2002 Healthy Workplaces campaign on work-related stress and psychosocial risks. He also launched ESENER, the European Enterprise Survey on New and Emerging Risks, the online interactive risk assessment project OiRA, and OSHwiki.

Telework and right to disconnect: The Commission launches first-stage consultation of social partners

The European Parliament Resolution of 21 January 2021 on the right to disconnect (2019/2181(INL)) called for legislative action on the right to disconnect and telework at EU level. BELGIUM: Case law on PSR since 2016

The Federal Public Service (FPS) Employment, Labour and Social Dialogue has compiled a collection of case law on psychosocial risks at work (PSR) from the labour courts from 2016 to 2023. The first collection covered the period from 2003 to 2010.
