The Federal Public Service (FPS) Employment, Labour and Social Dialogue has compiled a collection of case law on psychosocial risks at work (PSR) from the labour courts from 2016 to 2023. The first collection covered the period from 2003 to 2010.
The law of 4 August 1996 on the well-being of workers at work stipulates that the registries of the labour courts and tribunals must forward to the FPS Employment copies of decisions based on chapter Vbis of this law, which relates to provisions on the prevention of psychosocial risks at work, including violence and moral or sexual harassment at work.
The aim is to compile extracts from court decisions, grouped by subject, but not to summarise the case law. “Readers are taken directly to the specific issues they face”.
The year 2016 was chosen in order to have access to the application by the courts of the major legislative changes introduced in 2014.
