This standardization training was organized by the Directorate-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs (DG GROW, formerly DG Enterprise and Industry) in partnership with the European standards organizations CEN, CENELEC and ETSI. The main objective was to inform participants regarding the functioning of the European standardization system and on how voluntary European standards can be used as tools to support the establishment of European policies and legislation.
