“OSH Ports” is a new application designed to help workers in ports identify and reduce the many risks they face. It has been developed by the Seafarers' Trust of the International Transport Workers' Federation, in collaboration with dockers.

The French “accidents at work/occupational diseases” insurance has been delegating experts from its institutions (CARSAT, CRAMIF, INRS, EUROGIP) to contribute to the development of occupational health and safety (OHS) standards for many years. EUROGIP coordinates this activity and has published a brochure for them with some advice.

The latest update of MISSOC, the Mutual Information System on Social Protection, has recently been published online. It provides a wealth of information, updated to 1 January 2021, on the main features of social protection systems in 31 European countries (EU, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland).

GREAT BRITAIN: at least 2 million people affected by Covid long

This is according to the REACT-2 study, led by Imperial College London and funded by the Department of Health and Social Care. Between September 2020 and February 2021, researchers surveyed more than 500,000 people in a random sample to find out if they had had Covid-19 (confirmed or suspected) and persistent symptoms.
