FRANCE: ministerial update on masks for non-sanitary use

Category 1 and 2 masks are replaced by “general public masks with filtration greater than 90%”. The French Ministries of Health, Economy and Labour updated at the end of January 2021 the information note on masks for non-sanitary use published in March 2020. As a result, category 2 masks can no longer be used to deal with the Covid-19 epidemic as of 28 January 2021.

This was the title of a web conference organised by French Afnor Normalisation for its members. On the agenda were the changes introduced since 1 January 2021 by the trade and cooperation agreement that took over the organisation of trade between the UK and the EU.

Hairdressing: European social partners cooperate to improve OSH

In a joint declaration dated December 2020, Coiffure EU and UNI Europa from the hairdressing sector welcomed their cooperation with the European Commission and EU-OSHA to implement the European framework agreement on health and safety at work (OSH) signed in 2016.
